I, personally, didn't entirely enjoy To Boldly Flee. The whole thing was just a meh movie. The ending was meh, the story was meh, the music was meh. I did enjoy some of the jokes, but making fun of the stupid bits from the movies they were referencing got really annoying after a while. Overall, Suburban Knights is still far superior. Awesome pic, though.
Hey man: as Doug's title card artist, do you know if he's really going to stop doing reviews now? I mean, I understand he's got his own life to live, but I enjoy his reviews so much I'd miss him if he e-tired (that's like retiring, but from the internet).
I really hope NC hasn't ended I mean there's allot more ground to cover when it comes to crappy movies that have nostalgia value to them. But if his series has ended then what does that mean for the site as a whole?
Doug himself has made a video addressing that issue. In short, weekly Nostalgia Critic reviews are done, but the site isn't going anywhere. Doug and co. are moving on to newer projects (they even have a new place so to speak).
Thanks so much for the reply/link! I'm sad that there is no more nostalgia critic but I guess his eagerness for NC has kinda faded away. I'm glad that he's doing something else, and we'll still see NC in other videos along with more projects from Doug and co. Thanks again!
Reviewer: if their was another Parody of mel brooks....my response would be.....Fuck off.
All the other look in a bit of a shock.
Reviwer: if i was a Critic.
8-bit Micky: Course heading Linkara.
Linkara: Second star to the right and straight on till night.
All the Critics look at the stars remembering the scarafice that the nostalgia critic give us.
My Speech: This is the final time us Critics and also TGWTG would ever Review Movies that are Eather Timeless like Avengers Assembled, Classics like The Godfather, or Crap like Robin Hood Men in tights. we simply use of words Wisely and we use our knowledge of a film to see eather it makes scene, makes good points, makes Brilliant characters or some how connected to the remake (which sometime not).....We will Continue Reviewing Movies to point out the flaws that those films have and Continue Reviewing Boldly Fleeing where no man....or no one.......Has gone before.
Like everyone said: This was a dang good finale to everything.
I'm still wondering what that music was in the second teaser trailer/Since I got my own plans for a movie from that trailer and even when that music came back again when NC became 1 with the plot-hole.
Case in point: [link] Plus, the music in this trailer is also awesome/I'd like a copy of it: [link]
I wouldn't be surprised if NC did only 2 videos a month instead of a whole month/Since he's got other things to work on like his family and all that, but I guess we'll find out when Doug announces if he'll continue the show since I'm SURE there's still some nostalgic movies out there that need a swift bashing.
