Were you the one who drew the thumbnails for the NC's reviews? Your pics are so funny!

Nostalgia Critic.. he's hilarious

I will admit the plot is rather silly but I have a big soft spot for this movie and I love it. In fact, it's THIS movie that introduced me to the Looney Tunes. Since then I've become a fan of them :D

And... I recently got this movie (on Blu-Ray) in the mail today :meow:
zombiecop88 Featured By Owner Feb 25, 2014
He bashed Space Jam, and yet he directed Kickassia, one of the worst movies ever made, and far worse than anything he reviewed, including The Room and the Pokemon movie.
Ericho Featured By Owner Nov 17, 2013
Ebert gave this three and a half stars.  He made fun of this three days after an Ebert tribute video (in his Looney Tunes Show editorial).  I think that was in poor taste.

I'm sure there's more people who like this movie than hate it! I don't like hate!

It;s hard to believe with everything that the WB gave kids in the 90s... Lola Bunny somehow stick through it all...
Dambusta3 Featured By Owner May 22, 2013  Student Filmographer
its such a dumb plot but somehow they pulled it off,
I remember seeing this movie in 4th grade in gym class, it stuck with me for a while. it's not bad but on the ok level I guess
pokedude356 Featured By Owner Feb 4, 2013
Not bad.
I can't believe I liked this movie.
danparkerstudios Featured By Owner Oct 9, 2012
Well, the fact is that the idea for this movie came from a commercial which Nike, Jordan and Bugs Bunny were involved in. Of course, I never saw it until recently on youtube.

Nonetheless, I still like this movie no matter what. Even though there is flaws with the film.

However you want to be sure to keep these two elements as FAAAAAR away from each other as possible. Because if you don't, YOU GET FUCKING SPACE JAM! THE WORST PIECE OF COMMERCIALIZED, HALF-BAKED HORSESHIT THAT EVER HIT THE- Okay...alright, I apologize. I just hate it when Hollywood takes not one, but TWO of the things that I hold so dear to me and poisons it with undiluted urine-soaked backwash that I hate so much.

But, i love this movie :)
MSKM2001 Featured By Owner Sep 21, 2011
Me and my sister loved this movie growing up.

Ok maybe is wasn't as good as the older Looney Tunes which most were voiced by Mel Blanc.
But I liked Lola in this verison? Why? Because she took no crap from nobody and she could play of my favorite sports. It gives girls who play basketball a role model. Lola in the New Looney Tunes show on Cartoon Network isn't as good as the Space Jam verison of her. Her newer version sucks.

Some people hate it...some people love it. There are some who loved it growing up and hate it now and there are some who watched it as a kid and still loves to watch it.

There are only three reviews which I feel sad for the Nostalgia Critic to do
Space Jam, Tom and Jerry the movie and Pokemon
I grew up with them , so its pretty hard to hate them
However Tom and Jerry except for small scenes with tom and jerry , was pointless (Those songs were murder to my ears)
Space Jam was funny even though Micheal Jordan's acting was as bad as Shaq's and Pokemon ( DIE TO ALL THOSE WHO INSULT THEM)

I did enjoy this movie, but I love his reviews regardless. =)

I agree. Space Jam wasn't so bad. It was actually more watchable than Looney Tunes Back in action. And overall it was a pretty fun film. If there's one film from 1996 which I didn't like very much was Kazaam. I saw NC's review on that, and he's pretty spot on.
MonstarzGirl Featured By Owner Jan 30, 2012
I know, right?
I loved Space Jam and I still do.
I couldn't sit through Looney Tunes: Back in Action. (strangles self from watching it)
If Warner Bros really does do a sequel to Space Jam, they should drop the Lebron idea (didn't make any sense at all) and have something like this:
1. Swackhammer's back for revenge and also tries to permanantly close down basketball.
2. Monstars come back, but team up with the Looney Tunes to stop Swackhammer's scheme.
3. Michael Jordan returns, and a few girls team up and start to fall for the Monstars.
Call me weird, but I think they're good ideas for a Space Jam sequel. :)

Sigh. I tried really hard to comply to the review, and hate Space Jam, but I really couldn't, and not even just for sentimental reasons. I genuinely thought it was good, and though some parts were random and senseless, and Michael Jordan couldn't act, it was a joy for me, and I'm mature enough to judge it. I DID think the Tunes were funny, and in character for that matter, granted I was laughing my but off through out the entire movie, so needless to say, this was the first time I disagreed with the ever-so-renowned Nostalgia Critic.
I don't know the motive for expressing that; I forgot where I was going with it. But anyway, the poster is fitting, very hilarious, and the reference for the climax at the end is cunning. Awesome work. ;-)

I thought this movie was AWESOME back when i was a little kid! Whenever me and my brother went on a long roadtrip in our van (with a build-in TV), my parents would put in Space Jam for us. So many good memories....

danparkerstudios Featured By Owner Oct 11, 2011
I've watched his review. No, he didn't like it.
perryplanet Featured By Owner Mar 26, 2011
Oh my god, YES! It's the perfect homage to both Space Jam and the NC.

I'm not too crazy about the look of the Looney Tunes...NC is the only one who looks quite right, the others look a little too computer generated to me (and MJ seems really off somehow). But the concept is still awesome and it still got a real laugh out of me, so I still love it.

This film sucks. All basketball players can't act, from Michael Jordan to Shaq. And the Looney Tunes went down the shitter since Mel Blanc's death. What could be next?
TheAccountuser98 Featured By Owner Sep 11, 2010
Damn, I have NO IDEA why I used to like Space Jam. When I saw NC's review on it and re-watched the movie, Now I think its the 2nd worst bastardization of Looney Tunes I have ever seen. (Worst bastardization of Looney Tunes is Loonatics Unleashed)

I remember liking Space Jam when I was a little kid. I don't hate it now, but I still thought the critic's review was hilarious. I love how this poster pretty much mimics what MJ did at the climax of the movie. :XD:

lol...bunny boobies.....
ChippingChart66 Featured By Owner Jul 4, 2010
Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure the kids who grew up in the 80s couldn't stand seeing Lola's image being plastered on a bunch of glittery, sugar-coated merchandise as much as we were with Hannah Montana, High School Musical, and the Jonas Brothers.
